Mother’s Day might have already passed, but the Hopewell Museum wants to celebrate mothers all over again! Join us “For All Our Mothers,” an afternoon tea to celebrate maternal figures of all kinds, on Sunday, May 31st from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. Tickets are $25 for mother and child with $10 per each additional guest. Old-Time Music – Feb. 12th

Old-Time Music at the Hopewell Museum - Enjoy hot chocolate and coffee, make-your-own valentines, and the musical stylings of local musician Beth Burden. Bring a partner, family, or all of your friends. Enjoy hot chocolate and coffee, make-your-own valentines, and the musical stylings of musician Beth Burden at our Old Time Music event on February 12th from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Hopewell Museum. The museum is closed due to inclement weather conditions. The museum will reopen for normal operating hours on Wednesday,February 11th. Please join us for the opening of our new exhibit,”The Heart of the Turf: Racing’s Black Pioneers,” on Tuesday, February 10th from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Hopewell Museum will be closed to the public December 20th through February 3rd. Administrative hours are Tuesday-Friday by appointment.

The Heart of the Turf: Racing’s Black Pioneers

Come see the traveling exhibit, “The Heart of the Turf: Racing’s Black Pioneers.” Keeneland Library developed and shared this traveling exhibit that highlights the lives and careers of 100 African American horsemen and horsewomen from the mid-1800s to the present. The exhibit will be on display until March 27th. Click here to learn more about the exhibit.

Cookies with Santa – Dec. 7th

Join us Sunday, December 7th for Cookies with Santa. 1-2 p.m. is Sensory-Friendly Hour, and 2-4 p.m. is General Admission. Creative Harvest Exhibit Opening – Sept. 19th
